First Light at Kunechin Point

Last morning on the water. I got a few shots before we left for home.

This is a very scenic spot, with water on three sides. The most spectacular stay that we had. No fresh water or campfires, but still worthwhile.

Comments

It seems that comments have been broken for a while.

They should be working again.

Misty Forest

At the camp at Tzoonie Narrows

The campground is reported to be on the site of an old hippie commune. A few bits of old equipment lurk under the moss.

First Light at Halfway Beach

From a September trip in Sechelt Inlet

Do they have to share one worm?

It's a nice spot with a generous sweep of beach.

First sign of sun

We had a great trip, despite extra rain. The campsites were all delightful, and it felt good to be on the water.

On Falls Lookout Ridge

A hike in the Alberta Rockies

There's a network of these old fire lookouts along the mountain range. I don't think they've seen use in over a decade.

 The helipad

Beautiful weather!

A nicely eroded section of creek bed

This tree endured a savage beating from a mudslide. Half of its bark is still there and it is still trying.
