The wildflowers are awesome...

The area is full of creeks, lakes and meadows.

Lots of wildflowers, even blue ones...

And some nice peaks, too...

Very nice scenery, and a reasonable, moderate hike to get there.

End of June, and the ice is just starting to leave. Three quarters of the ground was still covered in snow.

Sudden trail marker in a trackless snowy waste

Bright blue water just starting to show around the edges of a nameless mountain lake that sits below Mt Tilley.

 Mt Tilley itself, the mountain that presides over this patch of ground.

Heli-tourism season has already started.

 No shortage of mountains

Revelation Ridge

We're going up there, to the ridge on the right.

A relaxing vista...

Clockwise from foreground: Revelation Lake, Heart Lake, Surprise Lake, Turquoise Lake, Topowap Lake. The mountain in the right background is Davis Peak. The rest don't seem to have names.

Some nice sawteeth down the ridge.

Looking back, South West, across Tilley Col at the peak of Mt. Tilley.

Due West, Mt. Tilley on the far left, Mt. English in the left background. The lake on the right is the largest in the whole area. Neither lake is named. They look rather remote.

Revelstoke is visible to the North and East.

Due East is Mt. Begbie with its North face glacier.
