Penticton Christmas Lights

We went into Penticton to do some night photography. We stumbled upon their Christmas light display.

Floating light balls. These tinted the tree branches nicely.

See that little greenish white light in the middle? Yes! The moon joined the show!

Next was the lite-brite:

A large, adult sized lite-brite that uses frozen water bottles as pegs.

And last but not least, the light tunnel.

Honestly, going inside the light tunnel felt more psychedelic than Christmas-y. The lights overwhelm the darker surroundings outside, creating a surreal effect. But still pretty fun.

Blog Notes

Hi everyone,

A note on some small updates to the blog. After 18 years of photo blogging, we've decided to start selling prints from a selection of our pictures.

The blog is going to remain freely available and will continue at its usual (sporadic) posting rate. There will over time be a bit of redecoration, a rebrand and a new URL.

For now, I don't have individual links to prints from specific blog posts, but you may browse the available stock on Etsy.

And may I ask a small favor? If you have an Etsy account - and you like our pictures - please drop by our Etsy shop and give it a follow. It's a steep market to enter, and a little boost would be much appreciated!

Thanks, Ben
