Keystone

An overnight hiking trip on the Keystone Trail North of Revelstoke, BC

The wildflowers are awesome...

The legendary waterfall in the main basin

Viewed from above
The area is full of creeks, lakes and meadows.

Lots of wildflowers, even blue ones...
And some nice peaks, too...

Very nice scenery, and a reasonable, moderate hike to get there.

Texada Island

A weekend kayak trip with some friends

We put in at Smuggler's Cove, then paddled out to North Thormanby Island

There's a really nice sand cliff on the end of the island.

We camped at Anderson Bay on Texada Island.

The season of much barking

I had hoped to go as far as Jedediah Island, but the weather was rough so we didn't do that leg of the trip.
