Flowers in the Sunset

We were out in the hills with some friends...

Right around sunset time, when the light is just skimming through the plant life and making things glow...

So my sister and I thought to recruit some targsubjects to pose among the flowers. Alas, only two were willing to brave The Terror of the Lens. They are siblings.

Crater Mountain

A hike on Crater Mountain with some visitors. On this trip we went over the top and down the other side to Crater Lake.

I found a bunch of arnica and other wildflowers in a moist pocket in the forest.

The air was quite smoky from various forest fires, but still much better than down in the valley.
