Kingsand / Cawsand

The conjoined towns of Kingsand and Cawsand sit on the South coast of Cornwall near Plymouth harbor.

It's one of those old places in Cornwall that makes a motor vehicle feel distinctly uncomfortable.

The border between Devon and Cornwall used to cut the towns - and one of the houses - in half.

No parking. Some turning may be required.

That lintel looks a little aged.

There was an aircraft carrier and another naval ship out across the bay.

The Critters of Bodmin Moor

Lia looks up at some sheep that are out on a suspended slab. No, Lia doesn't count as a critter.

That's Rough-tor hill in the background.

Rough-Tor

Tors are natural rock formations that are apparently formed by erosion. Pronounced 'rotor', this one is on Bodmin Moor.

To the West across the moor.

This one is man made, I think.
