Joe Lake: Sunrise Shoot

Joe Lake in twilight. It's best to get up at a-little-bit-not-dark if you want to photograph the sun rise at the top of the ridge.

First hint of sunlight

The sun finally reaches Joe Lake, hiding in its hollow.

Joe Lake Trip: Trail Pictures

Hardly a year goes by without some sort of trip to Joe Lake. These pictures are from a backpack camping trip in July of 2020.

Looking down on Harry Lake

Harry, I presume?

Not sure what this game is called, but it looked kind of fun. It seems to involve hoping that other people lose their balance.

Kilpoola Sunset

Great photography spot, great time of day and great time of year; right in the middle of wildflower season.

Random nondescript tree photo. It insisted on being included. Can't think why.

Full of shape

In the foreground, an unnamed, trampled, muddy and delightful pond. Further out, just under the shadow, Kilpoola Lake.
