Nice day for a forest fire.

Lightning from this storm made a few strikes on the mountain.
About ten minutes later: see that little puff of wrong coloured cloud?

We called the wildfire hotline, then went out for a closer look.

That just might be a bad place to fly a water bomber.

The fire, at approximately 45 minutes.

The culprit, looking cheerful and innocent. It dumped torrential quantities of water on Keremeos and Cawston, but unfortunately not on the fire.

Two days later.

About three weeks later.

Catching the sunset.
