There is Nothing Quite so Squeezy...

 As a double decker bus...

On a Cornwall country road...

With the exception, perhaps...

Of two double decker buses passing each other on a Cornwall country road.

Bedruthan Steps

Bedruthan Steps in Trevose Head Heritage Coast

 Looks very nice...

 Time to go on down...

 Beautiful beaches...

Unforgettable staircase. There were 120 steps, depending on sand level. We didn't count this time, either.

Trevose Head

I'm not sure what to call this walk. The general area is Trevose Head. We started at Carnewas and ended up at Park Head.

The path got a little doubtful at one point.

The water on the North coast of Cornwall was incredibly clear and blue.

We went down there next, of course.

If You Say So...

The Tunnel

The entrance to the lane that led to our place of lodging. It's not a driveway, but the start of a country road that led about a mile to the B&B where we stayed. It looks quite light in this picture, compared to - say - looking through the windshield when entering it from a bright, sunny road.

This enclosed darkness, which we came to call The Tunnel, goes on for about half a mile. It was charming - and a little unnerving to drive.

I worried about meeting oncoming traffic whenever we drove this. We only met a vehicle - a truck - once.
