St Michael's Mount

St. Michael's Mount is a castle on the South coast of Cornwall. It's on an island that is only accessible during low tide.

It's a National Trust site, so we could get in free with our membership. It was one of the more popular places that we visited.

This charming craft is, we imagine, for rescuing stranded tourists. We managed to not need rescuing, so we didn't find out.

 The harbor gates

On the coast of France there is a castle on an island that is also inaccessible during high tide. It's name is Mont St Michel. There is some history connecting the two.

There is a small chapel on top of the castle

There are gardens on the South side of the castle. More pictures in another post.
