Coming of Age

We were privileged to attend the Coming of Age ceremony for two young men in our community.

It's been my experience to note that there is no need for young people to submerge into that generational isolation which we call adolescence.  It seems to be mostly an aberration of our culture.

These two young men, on turning 13, have committed to follow a different course.

To my two young friends:

You've chosen a good path.

Tread it well.
