Richter Pass is the highest point on the road between Osoyoos and Keremeos. It's not much of a climb compared to some other passes on the Crowsnest Highway, but it makes up for lack of stature with some very nice scenery. These shots are from a small patch of provincial park beside the highway.
This little flower goes by the name Bitter Root. It's rumored to be edible, but not while in bloom.
A young buck posing with Spotted Lake in the background. At this time of year the water is high and the spots are hard to see.
