Walk in Scarborough

Some shots from a walk in Scarborough. It is a Victorian seacoast resort town. This is from the non-beach section.

All along the bank looking over the ocean are rows of upscale 5 storey Victorian apartments. This one is unusual in that it stands on its own.

Often in these older buildings there will be apartments below ground level. They look kind of cute and cosy, but manage to collect litter and, I imagine, rain water.
