Buses pass through gates in the city wall. I'll post some closer pictures of this section as we walked through it earlier in the day.
It seems that cathedral refurbishment is an ongoing activity.
On the far side of the garden is another stretch of city wall. There is a corner in the wall right behind that copper beech.
