We spent some time in a town named Bischofszell. The following pictures are from the town center.
Sun hits the main gate tower.
Bischofszell used to be a walled town. These houses were built on the old wall.

Most of the town looks bright, but here and there, something really old will poke through.
This street is the other side of a city wall. You can see the curve in the houses.
Most of the streets are reasonably wide.
Town Hall has gilded railings and a nice salmon pink color.
Sunlight gilds the tip of a less fancy house

Such antiquity; such ancient character! Beautiful, especially those shots with the rising (setting?) sun touching the buildings with its clear amber light.
