Taken on our way to Penrith, near the Scotland border, the Lake District and the Pennines. The hills in the picture are part of the Pennines.
At this point we've been at Penrith for two weeks. We're leaving in a few days. But I'm just starting to post the pictures, so you get to spend the next two weeks in Penrith.

As for the Pennines, that hill photo is wonderful.
And as for the Lake District, that utterly picturesque area is definitely in my top 5 to visit. Someday. :)
Lake District is great. We've done a couple of trips there. Also Hadrian's Wall and lots of other old stuff in the area. We have enjoyed it.
