We house-sat this nice looking place while we were in the Oxford area. It is in a small farming town near Abingdon. The house, despite appearances, is less than 40 years old.
Our tasks included caring for a barnyard full of animals.
Odd to say, but that white duck who is trying to imitate a bowling pin ruled the barnyard, including the geese.
Sometimes the horses here will have their coats clipped. Makes for an interesting decorated look.
The dog was a well behaved sweetheart who would never jump on your bed unless you, say, left your bedroom door open.
The cat...
Was about as much trouble as she looks.

Cool re the barnyard aspect added in. Lovely photos. The lighting of the setting (rising?) sun is beautiful.
And too funny about the duck-who-thought-it-was-a-bowling-pin, heehee.
He's an Indian Runner Duck. They always walk around in that posture. I suppose one gets used to the sight after a while.
