In this set of pictures we are up on St. Catherine's Down for the sunrise.
For the first time, Lia came out with me for a sunrise shoot. She outshot me significantly, and more than two thirds of these pictures are hers.
That little bedknob in the background is Hoy's Monument. It is bigger than it looks here.
The white chalk cliffs in the background are the West end of the Isle of Wight. Right on their tip are the Needles, which we visited later in the day.

That little knob on the right side of the skyline is St. Catherine's Oratory, or what the locals call the Pepperpot. You might recognize it from an earlier post.

So, so beautiful and evocative!
Early morning stuff is often that way - you can feel the chill in the pictures. But the country in this spot was sure nice too!
