Swiss Mountain Village

 Some detail shots from Breil/Brigels, a Swiss village where we stayed for two nights.





St. Christopher seems to be a local favorite, as all of the churches had a painting of him. He's always shown in water, though not always up to his thighs as in this painting.

At one time that would have been a perfect fit, but alas, logs settle.






When looking through these pictures I realized that we had not captured the way that this village sits in the mountains. I think I did a little better on a later shoot. I'll post that as soon as I can get it ready.

These are striking. Such character in those buildings. I am eager to see the further photos you post of the village nestled in the mts. I can only imagine the beauty ...
