Morning Walk

We go out for our morning walk. It is a chill morning, with frost on some of the plants. But that's all right, the sun is coming...

So many photos to love here (those woodland ones are gorgeous), and in previous entries too. What a gift this trip must be for you and Lia. And we, over here, are receiving such a lovely benefit—albeit minute compared to the real thing—of your travels through both of your blogs. :)

Ha! Beware the photographers!

We are having fun, yes. But it is actually rainy, muddy and mostly boring here. We just don't show you the pictures of that.

Our secret goal as photographers is to make you think that we live in nicer surroundings and around more beautiful people than you do. Envy us!

We learned this from our mother's example. She was always noticing the beauty of things in the moment.

If you really want to know, most of the time our mindspace is filled with things like "Did we just miss ANOTHER turn?", "Where on earth do they expect us to park?", "Can we get that for FREE?", "Why won't my stupid camera focus?", "Where will we hide when one of the dogs we are supposed to be sitting gets hit by a car?".

Nevertheless, we actually are enjoying ourselves. Glad you're enjoying the photos.

Sure glad you don't show us the boring stuff, haha. Therefore your secret goal is very successful! I am the same way as your mother ... the wonder of childhood in noticing the beauty of things in the moment (nice way of putting it) has never left me, and is, in fact, growing stronger as I get older!

Haha, I believe it. Still, all part of the memories.

I am so glad you and Lia were able to meet up with Carol the other evening ... and one on which she especially needed friends to be with, given the horrific news from her hometown on Friday. Lia mentioned you may be able to get together with her again in April when you're back in the area. Nice! :)
